Half Round Gutter & Accessories

Half round gutters are the first metal gutters used. Formed by hammering lead around poles to form the shape. Downspouts were made in the same manner. Other metals were used according to what was available locally. These gutters were loosely hung from the roof by metal straps (similar to the strap hangers used today). Although the K style gutter has taken over as the most popular profile, half round survives as a reminder of bygone times.
